The 4” floating version is ideal for trolling or for the cast-and-retrieve method of fishing. Depending on the line diameter and the length of line between the rod tip and the lure it will dive down to 6-9ft. You can fish the 4” in a variety of ways: a straight retrieve, a jerking-motion or even give it a pop-and-stop action. But probably one of the best and most successful ways of fishing it is to crank it across rocks and hard obstacles at slow to medium speed to create a flaring action.
