LS 4644

The Gamakatsu LS 4644 has been primarily designed for big (live) baits and really big fish. Although the hook is rather big and incredibly strong, it is yet light enough to achieve good hook setting. The unique bend of the LS 4644 is similar to an Octopus hook, but has a slightly more exaggerated slope off the back with a harder angle bend at the bottom and slight beak point. This bend provides an extra gap to accommodate much larger baits for big catfish and sturgeon. As an extra feature, the LS 4644 hook is available in two finishes: the durable NS Black corrosion resistant version and the  revolutionary new P.T.F.E.-version, which has been proven to be very effective during extensive fieldtests at the Ebro and Po.
